You travel through Namibia in a calm, clear rhythm. Desert, coast and wilderness unfold unhurriedly. Dunes at first light, Atlantic air, wide savannahs and quiet waterholes accompany you on the way. You stay in carefully chosen lodges, spend time encountering the wildlife and experience landscapes that have an impact - personal, reduced and deeply connected to the place.

Your journey sequence

Iconic desert landscapes & natural wonders

Iconic desert landscapes & natural wonders

You pick up your rental car in Windhoek and quickly leave the city behind you. The Namib opens up through the Khomas Highlands. Wide and quiet. At first light you stand in front of the dunes of Sossusvlei, continue to Deadvlei and experience how colors and shapes determine the rhythm. At Sesriem Canyon the landscape becomes close and tangible.

Coast, Atlantic & colonial flair

Coast, Atlantic & colonial flair

The route takes you through the Kuiseb Canyon towards Swakopmund. Sand gives way to salt air and the landscape changes noticeably. Moon Landscape and Welwitschia tell of time on a different scale. In Swakopmund you will find space to arrive. Coffee houses, architecture and sea wind characterize the picture. If you wish, disembark in Walvis Bay. A boat trip where the Atlantic sets the pace.

Desert Hill Lodge

Desert Hill Lodge

Nestled in the Naukluft Mountains and with a wide view over the Namib, you will experience the Desert Hills Lodge as a place of retreat. You live in detached, thatched chalets. Generously designed, with lots of privacy and views of the landscape. On your porch, the moment is all yours. After exploring Sossusvlei and Sesriem, return to the pool deck, fire pit and wine cellar. The evening ends quietly.

Private Game Reserve

Private Game Reserve

On a hill in the Ongava Game Reserve, the view opens up over plains and a busy waterhole. You live in thatched-roof stone chalets, reduced in design and embedded in the surroundings. From the lounge and dining area you can watch the animals come and go. Game drives take you into Etosha or through the reserve, on foot or by vehicle. With a bit of luck you will meet white and black rhinos.

Safari & Wilderness – Africa’s wildlife up close

Safari & Wilderness – Africa’s wildlife up close

You reach Ongava and the vastness of Etosha. Life appears at waterholes and springs. Elephants, predators and rare encounters, often unhurried. You are free to organize your day. Long game drives in the park or a break at the lodge if it feels right. The experience deepens in the east of Etosha. The landscape remains familiar and yet always appears new.

Bush camp

Bush camp

At Okonjima Luxury Bush Camp you will stay in protected wilderness, surrounded by savanna and a tranquil waterhole. Large glass fronts open up the view and the private sala becomes a place of retreat. Experienced guides accompany you on game drives and guided experiences and provide insight into the work of the AfriCat Foundation. With time and respect you will encounter big cats and endangered species.

Nature conservation, encounters & conscious experiences

Nature conservation, encounters & conscious experiences

In Okonjima, safari gets more personal. You will get to know the work of the AfriCat Foundation and follow the tracks of endangered wild cats - on foot or in a vehicle. The Omboroko Mountains give your stay peace and structure. On the way back to Windhoek you stop in Okahandja: wood, hands, crafts. A quiet ending that lasts.

Mushara Outpost

Mushara Outpost

On the edge of Etosha, Mushara Outpost is a light, open architecture made of wood and canvas - elevated above an ancient riverbed. Your tent suite opens up to nature with large glass surfaces. Light and space during the day, cool air and the quiet sounds of the bush at night. After intensive game drives, you return to an atmosphere reminiscent of a well-lived farmhouse. Personal, relaxed and calm.
